Giftings announce a man to the world, but the life of concentration shields a man from the world.
The life of consecration attracts God to man; giftings attract man to men.
The teachings of consecration don't sound 'deep', but they make man deeper with God; the teachings of giftings sound deep, but men who chase it don't often have a deeper life with God.
A consecrated church is a disciplined church that won't romance carnality; a church that focuses on giftings alone has often little burden for discipline and temperateness to carnality.
Gifts must complement consecration. Consecration sustains gifts on the pedestal of reverence and keeps a man under control, against the excesses that come with the manifestations of giftings.
Blessed is he who is gifted, yet lives the life that emits and reverence the aura of His presence through purity and power.
