About

Pastor Adeyinka Adekanye

Pastor Adeyinka Adekanye is the second of five children. A native of Kwara State in North-Central Nigeria, he now resides in Kaduna State. Born into a Christian home, he heard the gospel early and gave his life to Christ in 2009 after completing secondary school. Since then, serving God has been his utmost priority.

He studied Economics and Statistics at the University of Benin, Edo State, graduating in 2014 with a B.Sc. While on campus he joined the Student Christian Movement, serving in several key positions and organizing outreach programs in tertiary institutions and secondary schools. After his National Youth Service Corps, he relocated to Kaduna, where he began mentoring secondary school students in leadership and co-founded FOOTPRINTS, a Reading and Leadership Hub that revives a culture of reading and equips young people with a sound leadership mindset to address real-life challenges.

Pastor Adeyinka joined Remnant Christian Network Kaduna in 2016, served in the ministry, and was appointed Head of Ushering Department. In obedience to God’s call, he was later ordained as a pastor overseeing administrative services. He also serves as West Africa Administrator and Database coordinator for missions within and beyond Nigeria, supporting ministry leaders who report church-planting outcomes and preparing monthly ministry reports for the regional director. He manages the church-planting database to equip leaders for effective church planting and healthier congregations.

He is married to Dr. Jane, and they are blessed with two children.
